I really loved this story. Ever since Parker was introduced in "Uncontrollable" I wanted to read more about him. He was such a contradiction; being a jerk most of the time yet always being there for his friends and his beloved Puss Puss. I enjoyed getting to know him and Katherine in this book. Their banter is hilarious and it was fun watching these two characters, who are so alike in a lot of ways, fall in love. Specially since both of them had sworn to never get attached. This book has a little bit of everything: angst, loss, mystery, funny banter, some hilarious scenes and even some kinky hot scenes! Definitely my favorite in the series.Product details

Absolutely loved Parker and Katherine's story. They are truly a match made in heaven. This book makes you laugh out loud. It was great to see Parker fall in love and realize that is exactly what he wanted. Can't wait to read the rest of their story and see Parker's father get what is coming to him.
I could not put this book down I have read the entire series and feel like I know each character I thought I was in love with Slade First then Tate and Now it's Parker!! Shantel you are an amazing writer I hope this story continues there's so much more I would love to know about!!!
I have to say this book is my favorite!!!Shantel Tessier you did an amazing job. I love Parker and Katherine. This book had me in tears one minute and laughing the next. I liked seeing the softer side of Parker. But I also loved seeing him and Kat interact! The fought like cats and dogs. And the name choices for the cat and dog were pretty funny! Can't wait for your next book to come! Hopefully down the road I'll be reading another book with all of these characters again!
I hate reviews that give you the whole plot of the book - I will just say read it!! If you've read any of Shantel's other books in the series, you would never guess that a woman could be written who could finally corral Parker. Ms.Tessier - there are too many open story lines - you must give us more!!
4.75 Crazy Bitch Stars - I LOVE Parker. I've loved him and been intrigued by him since he was first introduced. Parker is a womanizer, but he's not afraid to show a more vulnerable side when appropriate. I honestly wish Parker and Katherine's story spanned over more than one book. I loved Slade and Samantha's trilogy, I didn't connect so much with Tate and Missy, and now I love Parker and Katherine. These two are a couple that I'm going to be wishing I had more of.
The story- this story has a little bit of everything. A strong, sassy, heroine. A womanizing, yet soft sided hero. There's action, suspense, hot love, humor, death, and more. Shantel very nicely intertwines Samantha/Slade, Tate/Missy, Courtney/Josh with cameos and then some. Shantel does not want to be down for the count when it comes to suspense. She has a great way of bringing stuff up and bringing things full circle. Do not discount her.
Love this author and I cannot wait until Dash comes out this month!
I'm really conflicted on how to rate this book. After reading Unforgettable I knew I had to read Parker's story! I LOVED Parker. He is one of the best heroes I've read in a long time. Funny, sexy, sweet, alpha all rolled into one. His inner dialogue cracked me up. Even though he had a smart@ss, cocky, love em and leave em attitude he was a big ol softy on the inside. Then we get Kat. I don't think I've ever disliked a h so much. She is a total b!tch until the last 20% percent of the book or so. The first time she was ever even nice to Parker was at about 38%. She had no redeeming qualities at all. Her b!tchyness wasn't a front or sassiness gone too far just plain old I hate men and can do everything on my own b!tch. Yes she had a lot of stuff going on but she never showed remorse for any of her actions/blow ups. So I have a hard time believing they were just a symptom of being overstressed. It was simply a "whatever I am who I am and everyone else can suck it" attitude. I had a really hard time seeing what Parker saw in her much less why he continued to pursue her. Yes, he was an a-hole himself sometimes but it was usually in reaction to being hurt by Kat's hatefulness. Kat does have her moment of realization but to me it was too little to late. For all my complaining I did like the story once I was finished. It was really well written and Parker made it worth continuing to read even disliking the h so much.
Can I just say that Shantel Tessier is AWESOME!!! Her books keep getting better and better. She's written such great characters in this group of friends that I dont ever want it to end!! This book had me laughing, crying, angry pissy, and had my heart fluttering. Parker and Katherine's story is just as good as Slade/Sam and Tate/Missy if not better. I loved Parker's more sensitive side, his compasion and tenderness. It was great to see that in him after the previous books, where he was more manwhore than anything else. I usually dont like strong female characters, just because I want the male alpha to come along and save her but in this case, Katherine was so alpha female and sexy while doing it that you had to love her. I hope there will be more to come from this incredible couple...
